Rough Day Ahead for Several States!

Severe weather outbreak covering several states like IL, IN, OH, TN, KY. There was already a tornado outbreak yesterday with a an EF4 tornado in Harrisburg, IL, one of 33 confirmed thus far. struck at around 5AM. KY and TN people REALLY need to be prepared as parts of both states have a patch of white for severe thunderstorms, which is rarely used and is the highest risk for severe thunderstorms today. 90% chance of tornadoes today for anypony in parts of TN and KY. That percentage comes from the Tornado Conditions Index, a scale from 0 to 10 of how likely that area will receive tornadoes within 50 mi radius and for that part of TN and KY, 9/10 was issued, about as much as what was first initiated for AL from last April's big tornado outbreak. Ooh boy do I remember last April. Wilson, NC was hit hard. We lost so many businesses and homes.  Hope everyone stays safe!

Yeah, I survived the Alabama outbreak last year and am currently living nearly 900 miles away in Delaware... but all my family is there on the Alabama/Tennessee state line and in middle Tennessee.

Almost everyone I know is currently in a basement stranded at the doctor's/university/work because of tornadoes touching down.

Y'all be darned careful today back that way. I'll be thinking about everyone.

I'm in KY and we already have a thunderstorm going on with a flash flood watch /still/ D: I really hope we don't flood when the real fun starts this evening. Everybody stay safe. I hate that I have to be at work while this is going on.

Usually that stuff migrates up here int he summer--ours last year was particualrely brutal with a few tornados popping in between 12am and 3am.

I'm literally right smack dab in the middle of the white patch. There are storm chasers in our tiny town, the schools let out at noon, and everyone is basically freaking out. I'm terrified of storms so I've been sick to my stomach all day. :/ Everyone, please be careful!

It's snowing here now; nothing too dramatic yet, 3-5" predicted.
We survived 2 tornadoes going through town last year... I'll take a year off  p l e a s e!

There are numerous tornado warnings from a line west of Louisville, KY and Huntsville, AL got hit this morning and may get hit again. I hope it's not this bad when Spring and Summer actually get here.

It's looking like a lot of the storm damage will be farther north in Kentucky than originally predicted. Thoughts going out to a few small communities near Louisville that were practically flattened!

Yep StarSwirl... Huntsville is where I'm from and where most of my family is. It's actually Meridianville that got hit which is just north of Huntsville. Hazel Green (again just north of Huntsville) is staring down a possible tornado right now.

It's shaping up to be a really bad day for the Madison/Limestone county area of Alabama. The general Tennessee Valley area as a whole actually.
