Friendship Express DVD problem

i was watching the first episode and when it gets to the surprise party the sound goes out of sync with the picture, is anyone else that got it having this problem or is it just mine?

I noticed mine did that as well. :/ I think it was just that episode and the rest played fine, but it is annoying.

Sounds like something I'm not going to buy if more than one person is having this problem.

Wow! Considering the build up this DVD got...thats a lot of people and a lot of problems

I completely understand being annoyed but that first post on the link to shout factory gave me a vision of a brony/fan on a soapbox somewhere with a megaphone and determination to "right this wrong"....lol

Maybe the bronies will have their concerns addressed about the DVD... After YEARS of Hasbro ignoring the collectors, it's actually useful to have a demographic whose opinions (and wallets!) they value.    After all, we didn't start getting boy ponies back and unique characters and so on until there was FIM and its fan base.  Who clearly pay $$$$ for products - look at the plushy market on Ebay!    So if they make a huge fuss, a re-release may be in the works.  Orrr even better, we may get the whole series on DVD/BR.

I was planning on buying it, but not after hearing that!  That problem would drive me crazy.

Oh, wow... I was going to buy the DVD, but I won't if it has a huge sync problem, that would annoy me to no end. Well, shoot. :c

Sorry to hear about everyone's DVDs being all messed up. hopefully there will be a solution to this issue.

Wow, and Shout! Factory made these DVDs? I really like them too...I guess even they can have production problems. But from my experience, they were really amazing about listening to fans of a different series in the past, so I'd be surprised if they don't do something to fix this.

Interesting.  I watched the whole thing Except those two first episodes and I didn't see any sync problems.

I think I will still buy it just to show support and because the DVD is so cheap, but if this happened on an expensive box set I would be a little more upset.

Does anyone know when the drop date is for Australia?

I have the same problem, but only with the end of the first episode.disappointing!!!!!!!! I waited 3 months for this to come out!!
