Hydrogen Peroxide Turned Sugarberry's Hair Gold!

I've not seen this happen with my baby Moondancer, then again I took her out every few days to wash her

That's so weird, I kinda like it, though, but I have no idea how that happened. O.O

I would expect that to happen because peroxide will turn even the darkest hair blonde.... especially pure peroxide... in fact I would have thought her hair would fall to pieces too!

I come bearing more pictures! Unfortunately my friend has tossed the bottle of hydrogen peroxide since. It was an older bottle of standard over the counter hydrogen peroxide like you'd buy at the drug store for disinfecting cuts, nothing like for bleaching hair. Perhaps the age of the hydrogen peroxide caused this?

My friend pulled out her Dancing Butterflies to compare. She says that the photograph doesn't it show it quite right, but in the shadows Sugarberry's hair is a more golden tone than Dancing Butterflies. Wish I could see it in person so bad!

While a little disappointed because of how much she loves Sugarberry, my friend (and I as well) think it's turned out quite beautiful! Strawberry blonde INDEED!

Oh my! That is quite the color combo! I like how her hair seems to have gone blonde even though that was not the intended outcome. Wish I had some old peroxide lying around to try on some red hair Perhaps it being so old and of little strength had something to do with the color change and not destroying the hair?

I mentioned earlier that I've done some attempts with peroxide/sunfading. I have yet to have any problems with it- of course I use non-expired peroxide! I think you should give it a try, maybe start on a baity pony or one that you plan to rehair or something along those lines if you're that worried. I've had some amazing results with it and this is the first time I've seen anything quite like this!
