So.. I'm going to try with a few of my ponies hair.

Lady Flutter is first.
Her hair is very tangled, so I'm unsure if my normal conditioner will work. Its AVON Kids Coconut Conditioner.
..Nope, dont work. I had to cut her tail.. Shes drying ATM.
Now, onto Meadow Moon. Her hair was MATTED! No pics of her when it was, but shes prettier now! I've put her somewhere, need to dig her up.
I should fix up my other Breezies. They are horrible.
Also, I looove Meadow Moons pose.
Edit: waitt my meadow moon looks like a different one.. O_o

You can use a straightener to save really bad hair.

I'd rather not. Conditioner saved Meadows matted hair, so its ok.

So instead you're going to cut the hair of G1s? Other people would be willing to fix them up.

Well, it wasn't a cut, a small trim.

iSparkle may not have the right straightener or not be willing to risk heat damage from the hair melting together.

I often trim the very ends if they are quite uneven, though only a tiny bit.

The other thing I have found to work surprisingly well is fabric conditioner...after all your are dealing with nylon hair so perhaps thats why but I find fabric conditioner helps defrizz and detangle...a fabric condition then condition one after the other is always worth a shot in my book!
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi
Loa is my love god!
I love Loa more than PonyLady!

I have found that trick to work too! I usually have a mini container with some fabric softener in it when I am cleaning ponies.
I have had ponies that had hair that was completely matted and it helped so much. I just put some on the hair, gave it some quick brushing, and it was better in no time!
If the hair is really dry sometimes I will use it with the conditioner to help too.
