Did you own this eraser as a child?
« on: February 25, 2012, 07:55:02 AM »
This Bowtie eraser is one piece of my collection that I know very little about.
I would love to know how and where it was sold. My suspicion is that was mainly sold in Australia (maybe even a show bag item?) but I would be so grateful for any info.

Oh...did you ever come across a ruler? Very like the arena banner, it had a rainbow on the centre.

Yip got a couple of rulers - no pics to hand though, sorry.

This is the first I've ever heard of a Posey rubber mind. Can you remember anything about it.

I remember seeing erasers like Bow Tie on a card here in the US. There was also a couple desk sets that came with an eraser like that too. Let me look through my pics on my other pc to see if I can something.....

I had one with Bubbles [I am sure it was Bubbles but I could be wrong] on it as a little girl...always remember being annoyed that I couldnt get an actual Bubbles...

I want to say I have seen this one before but I think its the artwork that I have seen on something else rather than a rubber/eraser

I'm 90% sure I had that eraser as a kid, and it came in a set with a pencil sharpener, ruler, and pencil (maybe a little notebook too?)  So that probably means it was available in Canada, although my grandpa spent some winters in Florida, so he might have brought it for me from the States.

I had this one when I was a kid too! I think mine came in a stationary set with a ruler, pencil case, notepaper etc I am pretty sure I still have them all but I'm not sure where everything is...   I also have a Cotton Candy one and a Bubbles one. They were bought here in the UK  :awake:

I remember a stationary set I had with ponies on it, it had an eraser similar to that, a ruler, and pencils. Maybe a pencil case too? My memory is a little fuzzy. n_n

I know...but I am so British I find myself doing a dodgy American accent when I say "eraser"...I am not even going to write a word which a US friend at Uni once used in a presentation which in the US means "bottom" and over here has a whole other meaning!!! One language? I dont think so!!!
