Kind of Funny

I remember from my childhood that my most disliked pony then was Lickety-split. I always thought she was really annoying in the series ( baby Lickety Split)


Now, she's one of my favourite G1. I think the reason to why I like her so much now is because I remember her so well from my childhood. Most of my favourite ponies have some kind ch relation to my childhood.


Is it like this for many of you too?

I'm the same way! When I was little, I had a Sugarberry that I didn't really like. I remember she was the one I took to school with me, because I wouldn't be as upset if something happened to her. Now Sugarberry is one of my favorites, and I think a big part of it is because I have stronger memories of her than of my other childhood ponies. Funny how that works, isn't it?

My least favorite pony I had as a kid was the Royal pink Princess pony.... and she still is with her creepy caterpillar eyebrows! I was always in love with Melody on the Tales show. When I got older and watched the show on youtube I was sorta let down by her slight... shallowness, lol!

I didn't really care for skyflier much as a kid, as a result I never really played with her and she's in near pristine condition! now I love her though <3

I had peachy as a child and I hated her, she was so plain and boring!

Kind of related, I had Star Glow and Lovin' Kisses as a kid, and Lovin' Kisses was the favorite. These days, it's kind of funny to me that Star Glow is so popular, because obviously Lovin' Kisses is so much better! :p

My least favourite pony was 'Bobbie' who I just found out is a rare nirvana blah blah. I thought she was a fakie because of her weird soft body and lack of a symbol! Seriously, even when I was 5, I just acknowledged her as fake and therefore not as good as my 'real' ponies >< Now I appreciate her more, not because she's rare but because...I discovered shes not a fakie ! (shallow me)

Mine is yellow, both her mane and tail are pink, apparently there are several variants of her and she was a happy tails variant sold in a princess box

This didn't quite happen to me, because I only had two ponies. My favourite of the two then is still my favourite of the two now. n_n
