Unpopular Pony Opinions?

- I LOVE G2 and 3.5 ponies (they were the first that I started to collect after I got into G4).
- I don't particularly like the first few original sets of G1. Particularly Firefly. BUT I WANT TO SO BAD! (I liked her movie rerelease a lot though!)
- Pinklestia didn't bother me (but I am happy to see her in white as well since I like her both ways)
- I actually prefer faded pink hair on most of the G1s that end up this way

I like the idea of Pony Wear but the ponies generally look odd/uncomfortable wearing it IMO.

Same here, I was not much into how the outfits looked on the ponies. I bought quite a few back in the G1 days but there were only a couple that I actually thought looked good once they were put on the ponies.

Oh and I don't like most Nirvana's. I think some of their color combos is so odd in a bad way

I love gen 3.5s stickers. Not the gen itself, but I've gotten two sets of stickers from purchasing ponies and I loooove them.

I don't understand why people feel the need to style their G4 ponies show accurately, I really don't. Why not be creative instead of trying to mimic the show? It's actually become a pet peeve of mine..

BBEs look zombielike to me. 
DD trying to "help" me customize makes me NUTS.  I know she just wants to help/create, but she's a Spirited 6.5 yo.  Things get messed up.

I HATE ponies with long manes. HATE. I have almost bought at least 10 customs but didn't because the hair was double, triple, or even QUADRUPLE the size of the pony itself. That is completely ridiculous and completely ruins a beautiful custom imo. No matter how beautifully styled it is, it WILL get messed up in shipping and will not be a good model because wind/movement/etc.

Long manes are beautiful but not in any way practical. I will never buy a pony with long hair for myself as long as I live. At least that means most customs won't tempt me, so that's good for my wallet.

I lied. What I should say is that I don't like customs that deviate too far from what normal MLPs look like.

I like both G2 and 3.5 though they're very underrated. 3.5s are cute in their own alien like way!

I also like tinsel. When it's not out of control and all over the place.

To be honest I have no negatives. I love all types of ponies.

EDIT: Forgot to mention I love the donkey and Quackers poses.

The G4s are too small. It's like the sizes have shrunk since G1. I'd rather skip the animal friends and wagons and put the plastic in the pony where it belongs!

I think the sea ponies are a little overrated. ...wait, what are you doing with those pitchforks and torches...

I love rehaired ponies! Some people don't care for them, but if the original was manky, I'll take a nice rehair over a poor conditioned G1 any day.

Caribbean Delight is underrated, she will be the G3 Mimic. So glad I have her. Also, I adore the SLH G3s!

I hate fan names for the almost G4 background pony. (pokey pierce? seriously?)  speaking of which I also hate how strict the fan-cannon is for that show too. I hate anything that has to do with Pony too.

I don't like super long hair either, and I've trimmed the hair on some of my SLH g3s.

I love all generations, but G3s are my absolute top favorites ever. EVER.

oh yes, I forgot. I too like pinklestia, especially the fashion style. The light pink boy and the mint mane with pinks & purples is so beautiful.

I really dislike seeing G1s customized. Admittedly though, it does seem to bother me less when it's a common pony I don't care for being used. :/ I also don't like to see G2s and even certain G3s, like the unicorns, being baited.

I also dislike the Gingerbread pose, though I think that's a pretty popular stance, actually.

I like D&W ponies. Not because of their rediculous mouth, but because some of the cutest characters are D&W, like Flicker and Rainfeather. So Cute.

I like G2s.

I like fakies.

Honestly, I think a lot of people are great artists, but I don't see the need to ruin an original G1 pony with flowers or random swirls. Flower arrangements can be painted on canvas and sold for the money you'd get for a custom pony. I appreciate a well-done character custom from another show though and hasbro inspired ponies are always cute when done on a common G3 bait.
