Show me... Grey ponies!

I think it's a bit sad that these "grey" ponies are being posted who aren't supposed to be grey. Poor ponies, they're getting old!

Totally, I think the only one who's supposed to be grey is Snuzzle and her variations actually (not counting Pony since she hasn't been made inte a toy yet). A lot of pony pigment just age very badly... :/

I always thought she was Grey! Mine is at least, with a purplish tinge, but definitely grey. My favourite colour on ponies, incidentally!

Actually I think the only ponies I'd count as gray are Snuzzle, that Lemon Drop (and any similar Nirvanas I don't know about) and Velvet Bow. The Perfume Puff does look gray but isn't she just discolored a little?

Yep, Dainty Dahlia is meant to be a pale blue, but I think she's pretty much always discoloured to grey. I have one I'd love to get back to blue if anyone has any ideas, but I'm not sure it's possible.

Yep, Dainty Dahlia is meant to be a pale blue, but I think she's pretty much always discoloured to grey. I have one I'd love to get back to blue if anyone has any ideas, but I'm not sure it's possible.

  That is how most 4 Speeds are to me.  They are meant to be pale blue, but turn grey over time!

Dainty Dahlia is originally supposed to have a blueish tinge to her, but she's still primarily grey. Especially if she's faded. And, frankly, I don't see what's sad about a faded G1 pony. They're clearly loved just as much by their owners no matter what color they are and it's a testament to how long they've survived. I even prefer Dahlia faded completely grey compared to what people say is her "appropriate" color. I think she's beautiful, even if she is showing her age a little. I wish I had her for my own. I also love white ponies that have become ivoried. They're gorgeous in a completely new (or perhaps I should say different) kind of way.

These were taken just a few minutes ago and the sun is starting to set here. The first picture was taken outside and the second one inside. That's just to show how lighting can definitely affect the way a pony's color can appear.
