well I bought a show stable with it's orgnial box my boyfriend convinced me to buy it I paid $35 for it so not really all that bad but still the most I've paid for one pony item

Soooooo far, I've never spent more than $25 on an individual pony (excluding shipping). My problem is buying lots in one go though, so it adds up. I think the most I spent at once was around $160, hand-picking ponies from a private collection, and I got some real goodies too

Definitely the box of wave 1 blind bags, I bought them months ago when a few JC Penney's had them, and they were $3.99 each 


Had I known they would be in stores now I wouldn't have bought them back then, but I do love them so! Still money well spent

For the most part, my G1s have come from thrift stores. But I DID pay $20 for a Dangles. I had one as a kid and I decided "Ok. I'll spend more than usual to get a really nice one." Not mint, but nice enough for me. According to her description, she had a bit of frizziness in the tail but was otherwise more or less fine. She arrives and has a fair amount tail rust :/ I also figured she'd be cleaner than she was. I mentioned this to the seller and recieved a small refund.

I gave her a good cleaning (the dirt camoflaged a purple stain O_o) and de-frizzed her hair. She's awsome now.

I love her to death so I don't regret a penny of it.  I'd probably never spend that much on a pony again though - I never have that much pony spending money these days anyway!

It was about 50 ponies of various generations with a whole bunch of accessories, along with around 40 fakies~
