Original box art and comics

Hi!

I think I saw one thread in the old MLP arena but I can't find one anymore. First of all let me apologize if his belongs to art forums instead of Pony Carrol. I'm not 100% sure..

 To the point;

I always loved the box art of MLP backs! And thus I thought we could share images of the backcards as well as the old MLP magazines! I have three magazines myself and I will put them up on the posts following. Please share yours and if possible, in high quality or in large size. Remember to resize the image of display but don't change the aimges original size where it is saved in so that people can Right click the image and choose Show image to get larger view.

 All that is posted is free to be used in anyones site but please, if you use the images, credit the scanner/poster. If the posted image is not scanned by you please state that so no discredits will be done and no-ones mind is upset.
 If you save the image to your computer I recomend you rename the files by their poster so you know who to credit if/when you decaid to use/show them in somewhere.

I love backcards and G1 artwork -

However I think the detail in G1 is amazing when you compare it to newer toys...its as though each pony has been created uniquely - the one thing I dont love about G4 is the way ponies always seem to be a re colour of an earlier one...I understand why they do it but for me G1 backcards, comics, etc are actual "artwork"

I know what you are saying and I agree that G1 is more "art"like.. as indeed, specially, the Blind Bag G4 ponies are all recolors. I understand the pony is usually recolor but they are not having any trouble with the cards either. Star Swirl and Rainbow Flash ahd their own designs yet they printed recolors on the cards. On this matter I am disspointed in Hasbro.. and I would share G1 art but I don't have anybeside those two magazines.. Thus im bumpking the thread with what I have.. G4 cards.
 I'm hoping someone else would join us soon because soon I run out of cards as well..

I was never a huge fan of G1 artwork, but this thread's warming me to it. 
Anyone have any G3 or G2 art? They're my favourites.

Vanilla Bean - I don't have any G2 or G3 art at hand right now. I've been thinking of buying tumphets. You find some from google but I do hope fellow MLP arena friends can share high quality/large versions : )
