Interesting thrift store find

Today I checked by the local thrift store today looking for ponies, and while they didn't have any, they did have an old book from G1 with Firefly and a couple of kids playing on a beach. I didn't get it, but does anyone know what it is?

It's a G1 Short Story book! I like them for the artwork personally.
This one is called My Little Pony and The New Friends

Sometimes HTF on ebay... but really easy to find on Amazon.com usually! At least in my opinion... really it depends on the book and this one I think is more common

she does have a creeper face! I had this as a kid and still do. Mine is sooo beat up. I had it memorized at one point! :3 so many pony memories flooding my brain right now! :3 happyface!

Yeah, if the proportions are to be believed, those kids are actually more like toddlers... where are their parents?  LOL  Firefly can fly but she can't swim and dive... she's obviously NOT the lifeguard at the beach!
