When will the cutie mark crusaders actually get their cutie mark?

I just read something on the Hub facebook page

although I just read some of the comments. I guess  it wasn't a "real" CM   - forgive me, I still haven't seen the whole show yet....

yup! it was a fun episode though! maybe someday we'll get to see them. I wonder if there are ponies who never get their cutie marks, even in adulthood.

I also don't think they will get their G3 cutie marks. Scootaloo would get a butterfly cutie mark and we already have Fluttershy.

I don't think a butterfly would fit G4 Scootaloo's personality too well either. She's definitely not as gentle as a butterfly.

Yeah, but G3 Scootaloo was also the "active / Sportive" one of the group.
Basic personality wise she didn't change a whole lot.

I think Sweetiebelle will have something music related, Applebloom will have something (dur) apple related, (probably something related to cultivating flowers), and scootaloo will be something relating to scooter...ing...So like, an actual scooter or a helmet or something. They can't be the cutie mark crusaders forever, because as any parent knows, all kids have to grow up someday. :3

If they were to get their cutie marks, I would love to see it done as a contest for kids. Have kids design a symbol, and hand write a little essay why they picked their symbol. The winners could get giant styling sizes of their pony.

That would be awesome! But I don't think Hasbro would ever do that...

Well, we know Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle's would probably be relatively close in design to their G3/3.5 versions. And Applebloom's will have something to do with apples, so at least it's not a complete mystery. As for when they'll get them, probably in the final season at some point.

Applebloom: Since she is good at sewing and create stuff , an Apple and an applebloom "stitched" on

Sweetie Belle: A Bell surrounded by notes

Scootaloo: A butterfly with a bolt under ( I really think Scootaloo will be a great flier someday)
