Flea Market Finds!

I love finding ponies at the flea market. I don't get to go very much and when I do go, I don't always find anything. Yesterday was sorta, almost one of those days. The only ponies I found were in horrible condition (covered in marker, hair cuts) and were very over-priced. The only pony I walked away with was a nice looking Sprinkles. While I was very happy to add Sprinkles to my collection, I was disappointed to not find anything else in my usual spots and since it was crazy crowded, I left.

I later got a call from my mom saying that her and my little cousin went to the flea market as well and found something for me. A yellow unicorn pony with blue hair that they bought for a $1. I was baffled. I honestly couldn't think of a pony that fit that description. I figured it might be some type of fakie. I stopped by her house and she presented me with....

I've wanted her for a while (I looove the TAF sets), but I never realized what a lovely pony she was until I saw her in person. Wow! And look at those curls! I'm not sure if they are original or not, but they look beautiful and I hope to try to preserve them when I give her a bath.

Those curls are definitely original!  Try not to get them wet, or they'll loosen considerably.  It might be best to just wipe her body off with a damp cloth, and spot clean any dirty areas with a magic eraser.  Make sure her hair is completely dry before you try combing it.  If it's even a little bit damp you'll still brush out some curl, and maybe cause some frizz too.

Congrats, she's lovely!  I recently got a gorgeous unmarked one, but all her curls were long gone.  I recurled her hair, of course, but it's never the same.  I wish mine had hair that nice!

That's great to know! And thanks so much for telling me about not getting the hair wet. I had no idea. I was planning on gently washing it.  I'm glad I've been to busy to touch her, I would hate to ruin that lovely hair.
