Encouraged by the wonderful repulsive333 (with whom I met at a store and chatted MLP), I decided to join this board! Like many others I loved MLP during my 80's childhood, and recently discovered MLP: FiM.

How awesome that you ran into repulsive333 at a store! I've chatted to her in the Dollhouse forum a few times and she is really sweet. I hope you enjoy being part of the pony community

@kiwimlp, yes repulsive333 was very nice and enthusiastic in person. I was very happy that she pointed me here, although I feel the beginnings of a new addiction! >.>

Anyway, more about me ... hmm ... well, I am married and live in the Portland, OR, USA area. I have a little dachshund named Gus whom I love very much. I enjoy SciFi/Fantasy stuff, like Star Trek, Star Wars, Game of Thrones, etc. I like to read, and I also enjoy sociopolitical debate. I like computer gaming a lot! I'm currently playing SWTOR, although I've played WoW (for years), HGL, Warhammer, Conan, Half-Life (1+2), Diablo II, Starcraft (I+II), Borderlands, and others. I also enjoy retro gaming.

And, of course, MLP:FiM!

Basically I am an all-around geek. But I love it!
