How do you have a "local collectors sale"
« on: February 16, 2012, 05:19:01 PM »
 Forgive me for my ignorance.   But i was curious as to how have other collectors sold off their extras (i have a TON of them)   lots of g1's already cleaned and ready for new homes, i have an extra paradise estate, lots of g3's, tons of g1 LPS.
and i need to sell asap   so i can adopt the horse i am looking to adopt.   :P

So how have you others had local collectors sales?  would it be nice to do a small meet?  or just announce it as a garage sale type thing for collectors only?

A small pony meet / sale might be your answer... post it here and/or the TP, giving a couple weeks' notice so ponies within driving distance can make plans to come. Also advertise it on Craigslist. Make it clear in your CL ad that your ponies are collector's items.

A man who runs a store at my local flea market will buy my extras. Usually end up throwing a lot of extras in when I sell though as surprises though it's been a while since I have sold anything!
