Dance'n prance pony's mechanism
« on: February 16, 2012, 11:32:36 AM »
Hi!
Is it possible to remove the dance'n prance pony's head? I didn't do it, for fear of break the mechanism. So I would like to know how the mechanism looks like.
If you have photos or explanations, please help me!!!

Thanks

I think you can remove the head without damaging the mechanism.  It's down inside her body so I don't  think her head has anything to do with it.

I've done it.

Fiddly job (getting the button off is a total pain) but possible. On mine the end of the coil had broken off from the mechanism, so I just re-bent it around the pin (you'll understand when you open it up!) and then reassembled everything. :)

Really thanks Daffy! I'll do like you!

I'll take photos.

Edit: Ok I removed the head.

Daffy when you say "getting the button off", it means you didn't have to cut the body (between the button and the separation between head and body). How you did that??
