and I also wish I knew what happened to my bag of little unicorn erasers. Does anyone else remember those? they used to sell them at our elementary school shop for $0.05. They were white with colored tails/manes/horns. Little itty bitty things, but I loved them. I think I must have had one in every color.

I remember them!  I was so careful with my purple one - I must have owned it for three years!  :)

You are not alone.  Although I luckily never parted with my ponies, I sold/donated some other childhood toys that I felt I grew out of and deeply regret it now.  I know it won't be the same, but hopefully you can find replacements for your childhood herd :)

Yeah, I kinda regret selling my childhood Star Wars collection a few years ago. It was mostly figures from the 90's Power of the Force 2 and Episode I lines and those usually aren't too particularly pricey, but I will never get MY figures back.

There are toys I donated as a kid that I really miss now like my Bambi and Oliver and Company McDonald's toys. Out of the stuffed animals I gave to my sisters when I felt I outgrew them, I miss my big Pongo plush that I bought with my own Christmas money when I was 7 (I was so proud too lol) and my Buster Bunny plush.

It does sound like a lot of you went through the exact same mindset I did as a kid, lol. it's so annoying now; I wish I could tell my younger self "Nooo! Don't do it! You'll regret it!" XD

awww!!! do you remember any of the ponies you had??

Yeah, I remember quite a few of them from what they looked like; I had Bow Tie, Moondancer, Medley, and Firefly just to name a few. And the magic-motion Ivy from G2. I regreted letting her go when I did it; currently she's one of the ones I'm trying to replace lol.
