I know others have done this, and I don't normally want to draw things others have already drawn, but I thought it was about time I do it since this is really the only style I draw ponies in anyway:

Gosh! If pony toys return to the G1 kind of variety and cuteness, hasbro will get my money for sure =D   
Your G1 boxart version of the newer pony stars in the series is extremely beautiful! I even got that warm heart reaction I had when I looked at my old ponies boxes before opening them! (and of course, before loosing all the boxes =(  )

At some point I might scan the G1 rainbow logo and add that and "Friendship is Magic" to the blank space above Pinkie Pie, but I haven't really had time.

Also, does the grass look kind of yellow to you? It's green in person, but I don't know if it's my monitor or the scan that's making the color look off.

Lovely. I start to get sick of the "mane" 6 characters but in this version I'd love to have them to PLAY with them. Wonderful work. It would bore me to customize them because I love challenging designs, but they would look awesome, but I bet there already are thousands of G1 main six out there.

Thank you! Yeah, I've seen some "mane 6" customs already, one in person that was really pretty, but yeah, I'd find it boring to make customs myself, not so much because of the designs being simple, but because I know they've been done before about as well as I'd ever expect them to be, and well, like you, I'm a little tired of the focus on the same 6 characters, as much as I do like them. So I decided drawing them G1 style was the next best thing. I doubt I'll draw them all the much beyond this.
