Pearl or Matte?

I think purple pearl G3s are a definite no-go, they look un-attractive in certain lighting.  :<

Any pony that isn't pearly or glittery is considered matte finish.  Star Swirl is matte.

Then pearl for me.

Depends on the pony! I would love "pearlised" Mountain Boys but I cant picture Big Brothers as being cute with a pearly coating!

I do love the look of the new G4 babies with the pearly coating...very cute!

matte, but I do like the occasional pearlized pony.  I had pearly Baby Glory as a kid as she was always mystical and special to me
