Author Topic: Aww, it's Baby Posey! Info for whoever is bidding last pg. (Read 4018 times)

I was wondering if any of you had any insight as to if there are different variations of the Argie Baby Posey.
I just found one on eBay but as you can see there is something a little bit different about her.

Her hair is GORGEOUS and TWO-TONED! But I've never seen her hair this colour before. Do you think she's been rehaired?
I doubt it was by the seller since he just seems to sell the ponies, but oh wow she looks fantastic with that hair.

...While I'm at it, has anyone had problems with Paypal payments to Argentina being marked as "Unclaimed"? I've easily been able to send to many countries in Europe, the UK and Canada, but this has never happened. I had to cancel a payment to a seller (actually the seller of this baby!) and he had no idea what was happening. I'm gonna try resending once he invoices me the price with EMS, but augghhh.

She looks just gorgeous =)

Her hair seems double colored, but at the same time, the light can be tricky (with her tail, nearer to the base and mane seems like the 'same' color, but at the same time, there are at least two colors (??) on her mane, that doesn't seem affected by the flash o.o Ans it's specially obvious on the first pic.

And about PP, I have no idea =S Try contacting the seller about it?

I hope I do! She's at the top of my want list right now but there's still almost a week left on the auction and I do have to think about medical bills. The suspense is killing me!

Also yeah I contacted the seller and he has no idea what's going on. I cancelled the payments that were marked as "Unclaimed" and I'm waiting for him to send me an invoice with the updated shipping so I can try again. I want my ponyyyyy.

I am going to say she's a rehair guys, it's way, way longer both mane and tail then it should be.If the ebay seller is the Conquer he is a known pony seller, he buys to resell and will have no History on the pony nor really care.

Nope, it's not the conquer guy. I'm not sure the seller wouldn't even know if she's been rehaired, but at least she's cute! Still would be an adorable addition to a collection. I'm gonna end up having to rehair my own baby Posey since she's missing a tail and an entire row of plugs, but I'll just do it with her actual hair match. ..Whenever that gets restocked on dolly hair.

Yeah, I'm thinking that she's probably a rehair but since she's on the top of my wishlist and so many of the Argies I've looked at have missing/damaged hair, I'm not going to be too picky about hair on Argie babies if the bodies are good.

She sure looks cute! But unfortunately I am going to go with a rehair as well...a lot of resellers of Argie ponies seem to pop up with the odd rehair once in a while

i would say rehair as well, it is the wrong colour and texture.

Argie ponies are not known to come with 2 tone hair & there was a time when many, many Argie ponies sold on eBay were rehired. I'm fairly certain this baby is a rehair from the length, color, & texture.
