Well, I suppose I should start learning 3D modelling, since when these becomes available to everyone, 3D modelling skills would be necessary to design items for it to "print"

Ive been looking at those for a while - it would be neat to make my 3d models real - also take a look at the reprap machines, you can build them yourself

When I was about seven, I read a book about a poor elderly couple in China who were sold a magical pot that could duplicate anything that they put in it, so they were able to get out of poverty. I've always remembered the book throughout my life whenever I wished that I could have an exact working copy of something.

This really is an invention of the future. It sounds like something pulled straight from a science fiction novel! As cool as it is though, I can see bootlegging becoming a problem with it and there will probably be some regulations on it. But wouldn't it be nice to have for baits?
