The question has been bothering me for years because I also have this pony. I bought her when she was new, she came packaged with a purple and white princess damsel hat ...and she is REALLY squidgy soft, not like other g1s. (She and her hat are in storage ><) Can't remember what writing was on the box. My mum said she acknowledged her as NOT mlp when we were buying her in the shop :/ We got her in a discount shop, not a chain toy store .
 I had always considered her to be a fakie (even when I was a child), but now I think she could be real?  It's driving me crazy. I asked the seller about her (who was ever so nice!) and they replied this pony has the right markings on the feet (gah, I so need to check mine. She was punished with storage years ago cause I though she was a fakie...)

Thats "Bobbie"....not an official name of course - she is a happy tails variant - probably the most popular one.


She is one of the classic UK-cobbled together ponies - you see happy tails and princesses - they will have come in UK princess boxes probably

Wooah thankyou so much, the mystery of 20 years is solved, I should have asked earlier!

She's sooo weirdly squidgy and without symbols. Oh well Bobbie can come out of exile now and join the others when I can move the boxes.

Thanks Hathorcat! I still find it weird to think of some of my own childhood ponies being 'nirvana's' (what can feel less rare than your own stuff you've had forever lol)

I feel like this discovery is some massive revelation ! Poor Bobbie always getting excluded for being a fakie. Sorry Bobbie. I should have always loved you more, even if you had actually been a fakie, I should have known you were always one of the herd... *plays small violin*
