Is it possible to have eBay feedback removed?

I recently sold an item on eBay - the buyer left me feedback saying 'great item but postage too high'
She sent me an email & apologized, saying that she had got me mixed up with another seller and given me the wrong feedback....
I replied & asked her to contact eBay & have it changed, but she now wont reply to me.......
not sure what to do about it...... my feedback is very important to me, I have 100% positive, but I don't want other prospective buyers reading untrue comments about me.....

I think you can respond to it and explain that the seller mixed up feed back.
I've never personally seen ebay remove feedback, just sellers responding to the feedback explaining a mix up... :/

I know how you feel but there are a couple things you can do.
Go to this page:

They will send your buyer a feedback revision request.  I think the buyer has 10 days to respond.  It might get her attention quicker than a personal message from you.
 
And if you want for the meantime I would leave a follow up comment till it gets changed, and here's how to do that:

Thanks Ponylady - I tried to request feedback revision, but I get the message "None of your feedback is eligible for revision" and it doesn't give me any other options...... not sure what to do next?

How frustrating    I'm  guessing that its not showing as eligible for revision because it was a positive feedback.. (although you can have false positves removed..).  The buyer can change the feedback,but if she isnt responding to you anymore ,then maybe you could try contacting ebay about it yourself since the buyer admitted that she left the wrong feedback for you? they might not do anything but its got to be worth a try    Also do a feedback follow up comment as Ponylady suggested, explaining briefly what happened - that way other potential buyers will know the high shipping comment was a mistake

I would contact ebay and explain the situation.  They can go in and see the emails that have been sent or received between the two of you to know she made a mistake.  I would imagine they would help you through it but it all depends on who you talk to over there.
 
The thing that worries me is that, ok fine she left a postive but the question is did she ding your stars in shipping and handling for it. I would make sure to express this to ebay if you call.  Because that could hurt you more than having that high shipping comment in there.

Yes, it looks like they did dock my stars for postage...... will get on the eBay help chat thingo now & see what they can do, thanks everyone....

Okay, so eBay says: No - I can't ask for the feedback to be revised because it is positive - they said they could walk me through the process of requesting the buyer's contact details so I could ring them on the phone since they wont respond to my emails.... I said I wouldn't feel comfortable doing that, so my only other option is to leave the follow up comment..... so I guess I'll do that now..... such a frustrating situation to be put in thanks for your help everyone...

How frustrating!! I'm not entirely sure that I'd give up just yet. I hate having to call eBay but they usually are very helpful. Perhaps you could get a rep on the phone and forward them the email that the buyer sent you?
   They did send a revision request to the buyer? Here's hoping that she'll respond to it and that you won't have to worry on it anymore!!
