How "pony spotting" are you?
I couldn't believe how pony spotting I was when I discovered...Kingsley the lion! In this video: Kyary Pamyu Pamyu sings PonPonPon. It's a modern one from 2011 too, and Japan, a country not really known for G1 ponies. There's heaps of "cute stuff" piled up in the background. But if you look real close, you'll spot Kinglsey! I was really surprised. There's like cereal & Lisa Frank stuff and it seems like all things they could get their hands on to post up a set with. But where on earth did they find hir in Japan?

Also the video is really wierd and kind of doesn't make much sense.

It's so cool to find G1 popping up even today. What else interesting could be spotted in this video? (Like, I also saw a pez but that's not as interesting)
How wierd is it? Fruit wig, bullet-crown king-duck, and randomly spawning toast wierd. With a furry VCR.

i have seen this at least half a dozen times and i have never spotted him till now!! GAAHH!!!
and yes the japanese are odd... but that makes them fun!

There was a thread about this video awhile back, but no one mentioned Kingsley.  There's a few G2's in there too, I believe.  I tried to find them (I did back then when I looked) but I couldn't pause the video for some reason lol.

here's one... there are many! I know ivy was there loose somewhere and the second or so before this there is a random tail from behind a cereal box!  Soo many it's hard to get them all!!! That place is like my childhood all over the floor!

not until i was trying to get screen shots.  i didnt find him till like the last couple secs, then once i knew where he was it was easy to find him in the closeups!

They sell G1s on Yahoo Japan auctions Over priced to us, ofcourse, but not hard to find. American 80s toys and cartoons is a cool thing among Japanese girls right now.
