Hello :)
 
I'm a very new mlp collector - decided to start collecting just last. I used to love My Little Ponies as a child, but for a long time my mum didn't want to have any - until she finally gave in and bought me my first pony, Love Letter. Then, a few years later, I gave all my ponies away. And now I've discovered I want them back  ;)  So here I am!

I did indeed grow up with G1's and that's still the generation I prefer. I've already been lucky enough to find a few replacements but as I grew up in Europe it's a bit strange to see how so many of my childhood ponies have increased in value! Especially the Jewelry Babies  :shocked:

Oh wow yes, the jewellery babies are definitely ponies that are now on the more expensive side.  I have always wanted them for my collection but still don't have any of them at this stage.  I'm pleased to hear you have managed to track down a few replacements already!  Feel free to post pics of them in the Brags forum for us to drool over :cheer:
