Speed's girlfriend was also named Trixie, and she usually followed him in the air in a mini-helicopter when he was racing.

Oh, I had no idea!  I had very limited channels when I was a kid and have never seen Speed Racer.  I didn't even get the channel MLP was on, I only got to see the movies
