Who designed the European G2's?
« on: February 04, 2012, 12:57:29 PM »
I have always wondered this, and have never seen it discussed. And I know there isn't a lot of G2 talk out there anyway, so I thought it would make an interesting discussion.

The G2's originally were sold everywhere, but after 1998 Hasbro stopped production in the US, and maybe Canada too? But I'm not sure. All of the G2's from 1999 onward were sold in Europe only. And I was wondering, who designed the European G2's? Were they designed by the main company (US Hasbro), or do you think that one of the European branches of Hasbro designed them?

That's something that has been on my mind as well... I'm from Europe, and I remember thinking " Who designs these? "  when seeing the post-USA G2's...  Maybe the biggest Hasbro dept. in Europe develops them, and the rest of the Hasbro offices choose the designs they want to put on their market?

The same goes for the Europe exclusive G4's IMO. Who designed Rainbow Flash and Daisy Dreams?

Good question...
