I think G2s definitely had the most imaginative playsets & accessories, some of them were so beautifully detailed.  :)
As a kid, I had Sweetberry's kitchen, SunSparkle's park set, Dainty Dove's wedding chapel, Princess Morning Glory's tower, Queen Sunsparkle's throne, & Ivy's beauty parlour.   :lovey:
I'd really love to see some of these again, plus anymore there may have been. I've been considering rebuying the park set to display some of my G1s & 3s.

Ooo!  I have the Parlor here with the super long hair Ivy.   I'll get pics of that tomorrow.  I have the wedding set and the canopy bed, but they are packed away at my parent's house.  Maybe I can dig them out on Sunday though, since I will be visiting them.  I'll try!

I do agree the G2s had some of the more interesting playsets, especially the mini on-the-go ones.

As for Ivy's Parlour, it wasn't as original as it was cut out to be. It was actually a modified G1 Parlour and you can tell from the mold that it's similar to the one that Peachy came with.

Also for the G2 Garden Carrying Playset, it was a modified G1 Littlest Petshop Carry case because Hasbro just acquired Kenner then and they were cross using stuff to save on design cost I guess.

*sits and waits in picture thread*  I want to see pics too!  I don't collect g2s but the playsets are lovely; I've been curious if they might work size-wise for g4s.  :)

That boat has been my accessory/playset grail forever. A friend of mine (she's French) and I were discussing ponies one day, when I told her about the boat she said "Oh yeah I had that. I threw it a way a few years ago though."

It's so good to see that kitchen again, it's such a fun little set. I remember the cakes 'baking' in the magic oven. xD
