Kingsley's gender?

I like to think of Kingsly as a boy who identifies as a girl : D

I just checked mine - its a girl ^^ has no feathered feet or extra appendages so she has to be a girl!

I am with you too hathrocat - all my toys were gender neutral as a kid, something I didn't really worry about, and I wasn't too concerned about where babies came from or all that until I needed to be either. Only time I ever questioned it was when my little bro came along, and at two a simple "your sibling is in mummys tummy" and then when he was born "your little brother came from mummys tummy" was enough to satisfy me. I wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed, but I was happy lol.

Sounds like my house!! At least you were smart enough to expect some kind of an explanation - I was told "here is your little brother" and at the same time was handed a nice shiny new Apple Jack and Bow Tie....I didnt care about the brother any more or where he had come from....I had new ponies!!!!!

Oh, I always thought Kingsley was a boy. I've never heard of a girl named Kingsley unless it was the family's last name. :/ Plus... he looks like a boy, to me.

Judging by just the name and the fact that it's a lion (which was the extent of my knowledge when I clicked this, I'd never seen a Kingsley before) I'd say boy.

But, I just looked her up, and had I actually known what she looked like and wasn't going by name alone, I would have said girl. She's pink (I know, stereotypical, but still...) , and her mane's not full like a male's.

I think that kingsley is a boy. I just go with the generalization that loins with manes are lions and those without a mane are lionesses. So in short hasbro should of not given that 'friend' hair if they really wanted to make it a girl.

You wouldn't think that it would be so hard to choose a sex for an eyelashed, pink lion with a heartshaped nose. And yet the more I think about it, the more confusing it gets. Only boy lions have manes like that, yet it's MLP so styleable hair is a MUST regardless. But they could have left it straight, sleek and less mane-like for a girl, right? "Kingsley" is a boy name...though I supose it could be like girls now a days named "Ashley", "Taylor" and "Cameron". That backcard, is it proof or is it like how Big Mac is a girl on the Polish caption?
I still kind of want to say "Boy", though.

I always saw him as a boy. But if the backcard says he is a she, than that's the way it is.
It's like Clever Clover. I always thought he was a girl until i saw his backcard again. I had no trouble accepting he was a guy. : )

Wut? Clever Clover was a dude? Mind=Blown.  I only have Petal Blossom and had to check what they said about her since, after all, she is made with the same mold. There might have been secret dude-hood.

I thought Kingsley was actually supposed to be a boy. I've always thought of him as male.

Kingsley has always been male to me and probably always will be, I just can't convince myself that he is a girl no matter how many times I have read the backcard.
