Kingsley's gender?

I called Kingsley a boy all my life. Most people I've seen do the same.

But the back card says Kingsley is a girl.

Thoughts?

I see kingsley as a girl, but I can understand why everyone else would see her as a boy, she has a big bushy mane like a male lion lol. I am a weird child however ^^

I think of her as a boy.  I do know of a female lion with a mane, but it ain't that common.  Maybe she is transgender?

I didn't even know Kingsley was a girl. I always thought he was a boy! Especially since he has that mane!

The idea of Kingsley being transgender did cross my mind, actually, but I don't know whether to go with MtF to be proper with the back card and the mane or FtM to go with my (and most people's) assumption that Kingsley is a boy (maybe he has extensions for a mane in that case?)--that is, it's a lot harder for me to refer to this little lion as a female than it's ever been for me to adjust to an actual person coming out as transgender! I dunno why, either.

I always saw him as a boy. But if the backcard says he is a she, than that's the way it is.
It's like Clever Clover. I always thought he was a girl until i saw his backcard again. I had no trouble accepting he was a guy. : )

If I am completely honest I always thought of her as a girl! But I was going by the backcard and I definitely understand why people would see different. Although as a kid my ponies were pretty gender neutral!

I always thought of him as He. Until I looked up 'her' backcard when I got 'her' for myself. :p Though Kingsley is still a He in my herd ^-^ I love his little Mullet like mane! So 80s

I just checked mine - its a girl ^^ has no feathered feet or extra appendages so she has to be a girl!

I am with you too hathrocat - all my toys were gender neutral as a kid, something I didn't really worry about, and I wasn't too concerned about where babies came from or all that until I needed to be either. Only time I ever questioned it was when my little bro came along, and at two a simple "your sibling is in mummys tummy" and then when he was born "your little brother came from mummys tummy" was enough to satisfy me. I wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed, but I was happy lol.
