What a fail xD

So, today I was supposed to go to university to this introduction of some sort. Last night, I put the alarm clock on, like usual, and went to bed. Today, I wake up with my boyfriend's alarm. "What is this nonsense?", I thought, "His alarm is later than mine, so how come I am still here?" Confused, I went to turn his alarm off and wondered if I had fallen asleep so hard that I hadn't even noticed mine. Turns out, I had forgotten to save the alarm time yesterday, so, technically, it was still set to 10am, and not to 6:30am.


WELL, needless to say I didn't go anywhere today, I would never arrive on time. LOL


What are your stories on alarm clocks? xD

I once forgot to replace my batteries.. thought it worked, and I ended up being late!
Not as bad as others, but I find it funny

well its not me its my partner he can sleep through his alarm it is like trying to wake the dead if he has an appointment he needs to get to i have to set my alarm and then litrually kick him out off bed and drag him to the shower just in the hopes it will wake him up a bit lol. the boy guy hates it but at least he gets there on time

I usually just have dreams that my alarm somehow gets incorporated into and then when I finally snap out of it and wake up I'm afraid that it's been going off for ages while I was dreaming away..

Hahaha - I hit what I thought was the snooze button on mine one morning, rolled over & went back to sleep, I woke to one of my offsiders ringing my phone, then when I picked up screaming "where the f*** are you???" down the phone lol. Oops ^^

I've had that happen too. O.o
I spent ages in a dream searching for the source of that horrendous noise.
When I finally realized it was my alarm clock I woke up. Turns out the thing had been blaring at me for 10 minutes straight, where it usually wakes me up at the first tone.

One time right after I had moved up to University for my Junior year I set my alarm to go to training at work in the morning. I happen to wake up at what my alarm clock said was 5 am... except it was light outside... thinking nothing of it I rolled over and promptly fell back asleep. I woke up again at 6 am and it was like daytime outside... so I got out of my loft and checked my phone and it was almost 8 am... and I had to be across campus at 8 for training! I really booked it after that! Turns out somehow my alarm clock got set back... IDK... it hasn't happened since lol

Oh man that sucks lol!! Once I thought I set my alarm for 9 AM.... but really it was set for 9 PM. Almost showed up late to work that day. *facepalm*

I find that the 'Psycho' soundtrack works brilliantly as an alarm

I wake up to a ring tone of the doom song or my brain wakes me up with a random person from a video game/comic book / etc...  telling me it is time for work.

I'm one of those who wakes up, turns off the alarm, and then fall back to sleep

(Toy? But it supports 8 daily alarms, has polyphonic alarm music rendition of an extremely embarrassing song (Skip To My Lou) and has a built in virtual pet game where the pet can't ever die! Most alarm clocks doesn't even do more than one daily alarm! )

I set it to go off at 8AM daily.

Thankfully, my natural body rhythm has me wake up naturally at around 8:30 AM nowadays, so I'm usually only a little late for work

There are some mornings where my alarm clock decides that it just doesn't want to go off.  Needless to say that's made me late to school on several occasions.   Seriously!  I'll double check it when it does that and see that it's set for the correct time of day.  And it is.  It has a mind of it's own. xD

Oh no!

My body is my own alarmclock...usually I wae up ontime if i have to be somewhere.  But there have been a few times where I woke up late, running right out the door xD
