I'm getting a Pullip... I think.

Ok so I have seen these girls around the net for years and never really cared for them, and then last week I got this sudden feeling that I just HAD to get one    But I'm debating over if I should start off with one or get two at the same time due to the fact that shipping to Sweden is a lot.. hmm! (I all ready have the one picked out though)


I have read some stuff about their bodys staining easily, does this apply to their stock as well? I mean will I get a ruined body straight out of the box?


Also, is it like a must to put them on an obitsu body? I'd like to pose my doll around but I heard that it's hard with their normal bodies.. can they sit down without tipping over? (the heads look pretty heavy)

Yep, their stock can stain them in some cases. My Mir came out of her box with light staining, and I know there's a Dal who is always badly stained out of her box (but I can't recall who it is). I know there's a way to treat the clothes that helps keep them from staining your dolls further, but I can't remember what it is.

All three of my Pullips are still on their stock bodies. I have no trouble posing them or having them sit down without falling, but I know Ala has a weak forearm and can't hold one of them up. When leaning against something man can stand pretty decently too. But I've never worked with an Obitsu body before so I can't tell you if that's a better choice.

Our Pullip has been left with her regular body and she can sit down without falling over but we only have one so she might be a fluke!

I have heard of putting them on Liv bodies as well, especially when there isn't a color match with an Obitsu.

I have my Hello Kitty on an Obitsu and Latte on her original body.  I like the obitsus better, there's more flexibility and I like their tummies    I may eventualyl switch Latte as well

None of my dolls has stains so far. Obitsus are not a must, it's a matter of personal taste.
 
But now I am curious, whoch doll did you choose?

I'm getting Cinciallegra and also decided to get a Princess Ann so she would not get lonely (Ann is is getting a new wig ASAP, the one she has is so ugly lol)
