Anyone Else Hoping the Fair Exclusive Will Be a G4 Pony?

I have lots of love for my G3s, no doubt, but I was hoping this year that maybe the Fair Exclusive will be a G4...

Anyone else hoping for the same?

I am probably going to be completely out of fashion by saying I hope they keep it with the G3 style - I like the way they are so unique in style but I think the line works if they keep with the G3 vibe for art, fair and cc ponies...maybe its just me!

I think it`s very likely. The recent Tao Bao white Celestia is going to be a new toy. First they made test shots in white the Celestia/rarity ones floating around and then a full fledged white princess? We know they listen to fans. I hope we get a Pony or mysterious mare-do-well for comic-con.

I don't like the G4, so I hope it will be again a G3 :-)

I prefer they keep the G3. If it's G4 then I totally hope it's FS sized. If not then the standard G3 clone pose really makes a striking special edition pony. I love most of those, plus the way the decorate the boxes and have windows on both sides. I really don't want them to change that part.


P.S. Stormy, this is slightly off subject but what is that pony in your sig? It's gorgeous!

I really like G4s, but ... they're just too small to do an art-pony design justice, I think! Unless they made a styling-sized pony (or made a 'special' G4 instead of an art one), I think G3 would be best to stick with. And just for my own 'everything MUST MATCH!'-ism, I'd prefer it to be a G3. And yet ... a Braeburn would be so amazing!

I hope they stick with G3.  I don't really like the G4 style, or have any interest in adding G4s to my herd, so I like the fact that I can continue to collect the Fair/ComicCon/Art Ponies.  Also, how would they fit a special design onto a tiny G4 pony?

I expect it will be G4 though - they won't want another performance like the one they got from the more immature fans following the release of the Comic Con pony last year.  Hasbro do seem to pander to the bullying crowd these days.

I'm half and half. If it is G4, it would hopefully be fashion style, and only if its a white celestia, or show accurate Luna. But I'd like it to be G3 just so it can match my other fair ponies in thier box

I wouldn't mind a G4 pony. However they should actually stick with her being an ART pony and not make her some character from the show...That would kind of alienate every pony fan who isn't into FIM.
I like FIM but i want something more interesting than yet another version of the main characters or some boring background pony. I also agree that G3 ponies make better art ponies. Just more space to work with.

It would be neat to see a G4 fair exclusive, but I think they will probably use the same G3 mold that they have over the last few years

But you just never know, it could be G4 this year!

I think the G3 are so much fun as exclusives. Their size offers more chance for creativity.

I think the Fair exclusive will stay a G3 since there wasn't much complaints about it but I kind of expect the Comic Con pony to be a G4. Maybe it will be Mare-Do-Well since she is a super hero after all.
