Heh, yeah we make sounds at each other.  "Meow", "Nyuuuuuuu!", "moooooooo"  and "nurgle!" are definitely words - sometimes the cat follows along.

Haha, my husband and I definitely do this. Sometimes I am really bad at finding the right words, but he knows what I mean. I can say, "Remember that thing with that guy?" and he has no trouble naming it and starting the conversation.

He also knows that pleading eyes means "Please make me a cup of tea even though I could do it on my own I just don't want to because I know you'll make it if I look at you like this."
