Yeah... that moment... I just had it.

My favorite collection is my, albeit small, collection of Zatanna figures. Ta-da!

I also have several art prints that feature her, artist sketchbooks, and of course most of the comics she's featured in. I have a few more items on my wishlist that I'm working on tracking down that are reasonably priced, but the thing I want most of all is this figure

Problem is... this was made in an extremely limited run of only 900... which means although her retail was $90 it is lucky thee days to find her under $300. :yikes:

I had a hard enough time justifying the $100 price tag of the big statue in the middle there... I could never justify $300 on a small figure.

My belief is that if it makes you happy and you can manage to squeeze it in the budget, do it! Hehe

I'm with tuney. If it's something you reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally want, find a way to save for it :3 And someday, down the road when you are no longer "that into it", your 300$ investment now will be worth who knows how much more x number of years from now when you need a little extra do-re-mi :silly:

I wouldn't say I'll never have my most pricey grails, but it will definitely be a long, loooong time before I can afford some of them  :drunk:

You could ways just save for it.   Cut your collection budget down for a while.  If you think about it, in the long term, $300 isn't much.  If you pit $20 a week away, you will have her in a couple of years.  And 2 years waiting is better than never.

$300 isn't much, but it takes me a while to save. And in the long list of my priorities, a superhero statue is pretty low. Have to pay for other grown up things... hence, being a grown up, no fun!

I agree, don't give up just yet!  It took me a few years to get my ultimate Buffy collection grail.  But my Premium Format Spike statue is sitting right behind me as I type...so don't say "never"!

Just out of curiosity, what Zatanna figure is it?  Is it the animated one?

...edited because I can't spell...

Yup it's the animated one. Pictures doesn't want to show up anymore for whatever reason...

You know you guys are making me think this is possibly not so totally unatainable :D I just worry that if I finally save up money I won't be able to find her anymore x_x

I'm terrible. I'd rather spend my money on 'fun stuff' than essentials like food or a new car, the latter of which I need really, really badly!

That's how I usually am too, Tuney. I have very little disposable income each month after rent and bills, but I alway manage to spend far too much of it on fun stuff!

Maybe it's not a "never" just a not right now.  That's what makes them grails!  Don't give up!

Yup...I know what you mean - there are always so many things above "what we want" on the priority list. I would say "never say never" and maybe one day a bargain will come along!! Good luck....
