I can't draw today.

Ever had one of those days when you just cannot do ANYTHING you were supposed to be doing? I can't draw today. Simply don't feel it today ! And I have to work, so this is quite annoying.


YOU LITTLE PIECE OF PAPER, WHY YOU... !!


Anyways, what do you do when you feel like this? Just curious.

I just listen to music, search random art on DA and light up my LivingColors, lol its a light bulb that changes colors. It that doesnt work, i give up and try again next day

Have 3d modeling and design classes, and I sometimes swear my inspiration leaves me when I need to work on those assignments.
Nothing I try at those times looks good.

My only advice is turn on some music and try to relax, trying to force the issue usually gets you nowhere.
Maybe look for inspiration in the style you were aiming for.

Oh - I had a day like that on Tuesday - I just couldnt get in gear at all! I ended up persuading myself to work my doing "half an hour proper work" - 10 mins surfing on the arena - "half an hour proper work" - 10 mins on the arena....when 5 30 came around I flew out the office!

I'm taking Graphic Design and this happens to me too! I have 2 logos due Monday and I can't even come up with anything. >.<

I've felt like this for a long time unfortunately :[ I think I've drawn...2 things? In 6 months? It's really a shame because I don't lack for ideas, just motivation.

But to get to the point, I should be doing some stuff for University course by sunday evening and I haven't even started yet. Most likely I'll have to pull an all-dayer on that one.

Ps. OP: if the paper is getting you mad, buy a wacom. That'll help

Actually, that was me for most of this month. Stress, health and..well stress from outside things will do that to you

If I could just peel myself away from the Hogwarts Beta access page and the F5 button for more than 5 minutes, I could actually get to working on the pose sketches for my Blackrose custom commission and work on the final stage roughs for the Princess Celestia and Luna Guards print!
