Twist's streak

...is it fading pink, or white?!
I've seen it called both! Both of mine look like white, but it's possible they've faded. Although they look white even INSIDE the head. Hmmm.

Anyone have any thoughts either way? Pictures are always excellent, too!

Mine has a pink streak (the fading pink color, not the rose pink). Not overly pink, but still pink

But I have had several come through my hands with white stripes (and in fantastic condition otherwise).

Hm...could it be that they're white, but sometimes the red of her other hair bleeds into it, causing it to turn pink? o.O I don't think I've ever seen one with a pink stripe...

it always looked white in every picture i've seen of her.
however i havent ever seen her in real life so i cant be the best judge.

I think it's fading pink. I think next to the red, it appears lighter than it actually is, so with fading combined with color contrast most appear white. Mine has been in my collection for over 12 years & her streak is definetly pale pink.

Is that even possible? I read on Ponyland Press the stripe is supposed to be pink. I would say look for a back card but it seems the one I seen on that site shows her with gold/yellow hair o_O

Edit: My little Wiki also mentions it's the fading pink color... hmm

Really?! I have two in excellent condition, and they're both white. I had no idea they're supposed to be pink...I'm trying to envision it pink and I can't really image that looking OK, so maybe it's just as well for me  .

For nearly 30 yrs... I've operated under the delusion that it was white! Cool!!!

Mine has faded mostly to white.  There is a very slight pink tinge still visible but if I had not read this thread then I would have just thought it was white.
