That reminds me, the other Greek candle ponies

Seeing the other thread that has the real Greek Candle pony for sale reminded me of those ponies sold in Greece with a holiday countdown candle in the box. It has little charms/toys attached. I have one in my closet right now but I'm too lazy to see which pony it is or take a pic. Does anyone else remember these? Anyone have one? How about a pic? I'll try to get one here tomorrow. What an odd combo to sell...a pony and a candle with toys.

it is odd to us, but all to do with greek easter in greece easter is a huge deal, it is even bigger than christmas!

children get a special big toy with a candle the candle is an easter candle (like the ones on easter candle pony's butt) and this candle is held and burnt during the easter mass

Most of the ones I've seen are of later Euro ponies, like the Berrytown Family and Seven Tales Ponies. But I also have a weird G1/G2 mash up! The packaging is all G2, but the ponies attached are a rainbow baby and Talk A Lot!

The only ones I have ever come across are the adult Meadowsweets, Sunbrights and Berrytowns and a lot of the Tales ponies...honestly cant think of anyone else I have seen on them

They are pretty unique though!

At Easter time a lot of toys are released with and Easter candle attached to them, as a pack.
And all god-parents buy them for their god-children, it's a tradition!

I'd love to see more pics guys!

exodus and bm ~ it was a gift sent to me by my greek pony friend i was totally surprised when i got it in the mail! he hasn't seen anything else like it though i am thinking it may have been a one off.
