G4 twinke eyes

Ive been asked to make a G4 Fizzy but I've never done twinkle eyes, so I'm curious on what make/brand everyone else has used to do TE G4s.

And posting your TEs would also rock as I'm intersted in eye layouts (if that makes sense)

I just used regular swarovski flatbacks on mine... I tried finding the teardrop shaped crystals but I wasn't able to.  Don't remember what size, though.

My TEs of choice for G4s are size 34 swarovski crystals.  I think they work pretty well...

I normally use Swarovski coned back chatons  29SS approx. 6.1-6.3 mm (bit more than 0.24")

I haven't made any myself, but I have one made by SDTang for me and another test bait on how I think a TE G4 should look like. I use the flat base Swarovski crystals and they call it size ss30. They come in many sizes and they look pretty close until you place them side by side. I only go for ss30. It is a good size to cover most eyes without having needing to do much modifications, just patch up the black areas with colours to match jewel colour (unless you want to change the eye colour) and is one of the ranges with the most colour choices. I'm also a bit particular. I like to stick to the current G4 style of painting their eyes, so I must have a painted coloured base before setting the jewels on top to make them look bigger than they really are, and also to ensure all my TE have the standard eye size instead of having some big and some small, and some in odd shapes.

I just finished my g4 Quackers yesterday so I still recall what I used! Mine were 6mm Premium Acrylic Rhinestones by Darico. I tried to find Swarvsky but the store was sold out anyway some info about the acrylic type. Acetone will cloud the gem and degrade it. Rubbing alcohol will to a point, but not anywhere near as much. 6mm is the perfect size for a g4. Mine are actually set into the plastic. To do this cut a hole just about the same size and set in. Secure with mod podge or super glue from the inside. Use a darker version of the gem color to paint a thin line around the edge of the gem and paint whites and lashes as usual Seal paint with your sealer of choice
