g3.5 mcdonalds pony... how the poo do i get her head off?!

i have been trying to carefully cut around where her head joins the body but it just wont come off. I've been working at this for over an hour! is there any easier way to make it work?
also how hard is it to rehair her? cuz her hair is preetty scuzzy right now!

finally got it off!!! had to go in at an angle and push the blade almost the hole way in, but i did it!!! I'll post a tutorial with pics tomorrow sometime! HAHA!!!!
