Vinyl Scratch/DJ Pon-3

I know she's been done before, but since I don't have any baits at the moment, I decided  to mod a pony I'd picked up at a yard sale a few years ago.  She started out a g3 Denim Days that had seen much better days; she had several brownish scorch marks on her legs and I'm assuming that she was burnt at some point in time, but I'm not sure exactly how.  I repainted her with a few coats of acrylic and gave her some molded some glasses.  She already had perfectly colored hair, which I just put into straw curls because I didn't want to cut it.  I figured that since I was using a g3 and not a g4 bait, I didn't need to be completely canon to the series, and I've seen plenty of club-goers with similar dreads and cyberlox.

I like the colors. White & blue are awesome. Interesting to see her as a G3, too.

She really was pretty fun to make, and I'm glad I got some use out of her, since she was so badly scorched.

I was stumped for a while on what to do for her hair, because it was such a perfect color and I didn't want to cut it short like the cartoon and then have it be too thin.  But I couldn't get it to be long and look like the show either, so I gave her pretty spirals and they turned out perfectly.  I may actually do them over again and boil perm them, since they're already looking a little loose, but we'll see how they look when the weekend comes.
