Before I owned one, I had only ever seen them in photos from straight-on. They looked dead-in-the-eye to me. Now that I have one, I see her looking up and smiling (haha, that sounds so corny) and it's adorable.

I think it's a kind of cute pose... Although I have a buncha donkey ponies in my bait box, and none of them really have the personality for the customs I have planned...
So they're just kind of sitting there, looking for a purpose right now.

I was never a G3 fan until I saw Minty.  She was the first G3 I actually liked (and 1 of 2 that I own).
I think the pose is adorable!  So happy and carefree!

I'll have to say it's my least favorite G3 pose. It makes the head look waaaay too big. It has ruined many potentially pretty ponies for me.
