When [if ever] will you consider your collection complete?

When I own every pony I want, I guess, but I'm always so happy to buy baity ponies I'll still probably buy like bait lots and such.

Although I will never realistically have every pony I want unless I get customs made after them. xD There's only one pony I'd spend $50 on and none I'd spend more on.

The quest will never end for me, which is both good and bad.  I want every pony, every Nirvana, and every odd variant, all mint or NM with complete accessories and cards/boxes (though I don't really care about MOC).  Onward and upward!

I'm working in stages, so I can get the feeling I've gotten parts of my collection complete.

But I do suppose my Sundance army could be considered complete once I got a custom of her in every pose from every generation, along with all the Sundance/Sunsparkle official releases and accessories of course. Anything after that would just be extra recruits. xDDDD

Probably never    I don't collect sets, with the exception of my Summer Wing set (and eventually the Windy Wings too), so I don't have specific collecting goals.  When I see a pony that I love, I put it on my list.  I see new ones all the time, so I'm sure there will always be someone I'm looking for.

I would love to have all the mountain boys, newborn twins, baby brothers and princesses with their accessories.  But even then, my collection probably still wouldn't be complete as I would still be hunting for ponies secondhand.

I don't really have an idea in mind when I want to stop collecting. I just know that I'd like to get some of my favorite childhood ponies back. But I'm always finding new ones that I really want. Now I want to start building up some sets too.

I want to have all the mexicans...  That's my first goal.

About my 'complete' herd?  I want to have all the US collection (missing more or less 160), and at least one nirvana pony from each country they were made.  So, it's still a long way for me having a complete herd.

I'm not really into accessories, but if I get some, I'll try to put it with the pony they belong to =)

Once I get every single MLP product (even variants, factory rejects and Nirvanas) ever made. However, that won't be until Hasbro stops making MLP, which will be a while. And I'd need my own pony room to fit it all!

Ponywise I just want Tic Tac Toe, trotting pose Confetti, (and Baby Cherries Jubilee, but doubt that will happen). I think when I have TTT, and have filled the blanks in my childhood Panini sticker album, my collection will be officially finished, in that I won't be actively collecting, any other G1 merchandise is just a bonus. Still like to go to Ponycon every few years if it is nearby!

I have the goal of owning one of every single pony evah lol. As that includes ALL nirvanas then my collection will never be complete I like it this way though. Why aim low? I want one of all ponies so even though it's not likely to happen why set a lower goal? And more importantly I will always have something to aim for and something to collect

I love the fact so many of us are close but dont think we will every "quite" get there....I am not alone lol! For me the actual tracking down of items and ponies is as much fun as talking about ponies....I think it would be lovely if I could consider my collection complete but like others have said I would probably spend a week going "yeah!!!" and then spot something else I suddenly "needed"!!!

Because I'm 17 and I don't have limitless money (and I am now realising that!), I have decided to stick to what I originally set out to do:
Complete my year 3 seaponies (2 shells away!!)
Complete my Big Brothers (One Boy Away!)
Complete my Mountain Boys (One boy away!)
Complete my dragons! (3 away!)
Complete my Windy Wings (3 away!)
Complete my Summer Wings (1 away)

Originally there were a lot less sets than this to complete, but my wonderful mum knew how much I wanted windy wings and summer wings so she bought me near completed sets!
