In all seriousness, MintySocks is clearly a better designer than Hasbro. Winter themed ponies that actually look like winter=win.

Hasbro designed plenty of great winter themed ponies...Just check G3. Also don't forget that Snowcatcher was (in some places) sold before winter. I never really saw her as much of a winter pony.

Flickerswift, I wouldn't say for a moment that you were wasting our time! I looked at your link and I learned a few new things PLUS I go to marvel at the beauty of the natural world. Things like that are never wasted.

Oh, and I thought the five sided snowflake was a hodgepodge merge of a snowflake and a dreamcatcher. She's not one of my favorites, but so far I've been getting all of the $5 ponies..soooooo   I do love her hair, though!

I don't know much about the G4 line or show at all... but today I stumbled upon a picture of a G4 pony that I absolutely adore - she was playing the cello.  I play the cello!  And then I saw her symbol - a treble clef.  You don't play a cello in the treble clef!  She should have a bass clef!  *furious*

So don't worry, you're not alone!

Lol! To be honest I never thought about that    since the main reason I bought her was because Rarity needed her Opal!    You've got a good eye for details though ^^ and I agree that the snowflake site was very interesting. I love snowflakes!

I had no idea that snowflakes had 6 points - never having seen one LOL!
I actually assumed it was just random clumps of frozen rain..... clearly I had no idea!
I do really like Snow Catcher (&her Kitty) she's one of my fave G4s.

I completely agree with you by the way... only thing I can figure is maybe her cutie mark is supposed to be a "snowlike" star, a cross between celestial and weather symbols?? Funny that was one of things I though when I saw her.  That plus with her name I kept expecting her to be a cross between Star Catcher and Winter Snow or one of the Winter series ponies.
