So I've been out of the collecting loop for a while...

I gave up trying to get all of the G3 ponies and I was tired of the core 7. However  the are some ponies I would still like to get but looking over on ebay, it looks like the average price is $25?! I mean really? Its not like some of these ponies were special editions or whatnot...


I'm scared to see what the Junko pony or the other SDCC are going for

Well, normal G3s mostly aren't worth much. I mean the harder to find ones might go for $10 if that. But if you're talking exclusives, yeah, they're still up there! Probably because there's so few of them.

I bought both Junko and the last three years' worth of SDCC ponies about a month ago for about $30-35 a piece

I am far from a G3 expert but I think the swoop of popularity of G4, seems to have lowered a lot of G3 prices straight back to retail value!

The convention and fair ponies (aside from the super rare like Bay Breeze, Frisco, Trolley...) go for around $35-$45.
