I went back to one of the Goodwills this morning... after SMURFS of all things! I should have bought them for my mom yesterday... but left them. Sadly they were gone... But these two were just hanging out... O.o

Honestly... if mom hadn't wanted those Smurfs so bad (apparently they are one of her "memories" of me as a little girl... she says they predate the Pony craze. I sorta disagree... but hey. )... I wouldn't have gone back!

And guess what... I wanted to hit the Walmart that is nextdoor to that SAME Goodwill... so I dropped in again this morning...

O....M...G!!! Whatever I did to find favor with the G1 Goodwill gods... I'm wondering if I should hit it AGAIN tomorrow... I wonder if I can find a way to get Hubby up that way again tomorrow. I don't think he realises the frequency that I've been hitting Goodwill lately...

Honestly... I didn't mean to turn this into such a "gushing" thread... I'm just... ASTOUNDED at my luck this week! I mean... 13 G1s from Goodwill... really only TWO Goodwill stores... in 3 days.

The only thing that would have made it better... would have been if some HTF pony had been in one of the bags! But the prestine SS ponies sorta fill that...

I had a run like this once.  I went back every day for a week and found new G1's every day.  It's because they don't put out everything at the same time, even if it was all donated at once.  I'd keep going back until I didn't find anything if I were you   Especially if it's not too far out of the way!

Sadly... she has a pretty deep CHOMP in her foreleg. Someone bit clear thry the plastic.

And she has a lot of flocking loss on that same leg... and all hooves.

But yeah... SUPER pink hair! I might deflock her... even though she has a hole inher leg... and keep her that way...

I'm really glad Bowtie cleaned up nicely! My childhood gal... uh... had a run in with scissors, and a 4 yr old who was REALLY unhappy she had a new baby sister...

Poor thing is still sporting that awful buzz cut... and is missing her tail.
