CMC set- where did you find yours?

I found my set at Target (same with the Castle Friends set).  But mainly because my Target has a much larger Pony section than Walmart (even though Walmart has the blind bags).

Same thing for me, except my Walmart doesn't have blind bags yet.

I got my CMC set at Target. Wal-Mart doesn't have it, but they do have the FS Rainbow Dash that Target doesn't. Otherwise, both stores seem to have the same items in stock. I don't know about TRU since the closest one to me is about 40 miles north of here.

I got mine at Target as well. I hit up four Walmarts on Saturday, looking for blind bags and I didn't see the CMC set or the Castle Friends set at any of them. Heck, they didn't even have the train.

Admittedly, none of the four had the blind bags either, so my Walmarts might just be lame.

Target is the only place I've seen them, but it's also the only place in my immediate area that I can buy ponies at (our walmarts don't carry any).
I'd be happy to pick you up a CMC set at cost if you'd like.

Thanks very much, Ren-Ren I'll keep you posted on that. I'm hoping to find it locally, because I have a TRU gift card from Christmas I intended to use to buy it. But, if it takes too dang long for them to show up here, I might take you up on that offer!

I somewhat doubt it is a Target exclusive... most exclusives don't show up in the little package brochures, and the CMC set is shown in there.   It does happen on occasion that a store will get something in long before any others.   Some store chains will pay manufacturers so that they can be the first to offer an item.

That's a very good point, NightWing. I hadn't really considered that... thinking of it that way, I'm much more confident they will show up in shops here

Walmart here is reworking the pony/girl toy section so maybe we'll get them *fingured crossed* Saskatchewan never seems to get anything cool so here's hoping

I bought mine from Target, but they only had two on the shelf. No where else has even started stocking the newer ponies. U_U; Our walmarts are super slow and the only Toys R' Us is about 20 minutes away (and totally small and ghetto. They never put anything out either, but when they do, it's gone in a snap). I could go to my target and see if they still have one in. If you live in the US we might could work something out and just have it shipped to you. Though, if you're like me, the hunt is part of the fun ;

I've been worried about the same thing! Supposedly there's no exclusive sticker on the packages, but it seems strange that only Target has them. Can you update this thread when you hear back from Hasbro?

Also, has anyone spotted FS Rainbow Dash yet?

In Northern California, I found the CMC School Pals set at 2 different Targets. (They had a bunch of FS Twilight Sparkles and a couple of Pinkie Pie Train sets too)

The Pony section was pretty thin at the TRU. Just a couple of random sets and no FS or Playful Ponies.

I got mine at Target. Sorry about that. I hope they'll see wider distribution. I did see the Pinkie Pie and Sweetie Belle set at a Walmart, not Target, and I've seen the train around here too.

I spoke with a manager at my Wal Mart. And he was kind enough to look and see if they might be getting that set. He said he couldn't tell me if they would get it or not because it wasn't in the system yet. But they are doing a major over hall of the store so maybe thats why they haven't gotten anything yet.

I remember looking on the Hasbro website and they said that the Walmart and TRU near me was supposed to have them, but I haven't seen it.

I saw about 3 of them at Target before, but two days later when I went back they were all gone.
