Hi there,

My name is Amanda and I live in GA. As a child, I collected G1 ponies, but they were um..."well loved" as many have termed it over the internet. ^ ^; I kept them for many many years (until about 2 years ago, actually), but due to unfortunate circumstances, most of them were lost. I managed to hold onto around 6 of them, only a small fraction of my original collection. I never really got into the G2 ponies or the (I believe they're called G3.5?) smaller G3 ponies, but I do have about five of the G3 ponies and almost the entire line of G4 ponies, except for the car sets, ride alongs, and so soft/newborns.

The old My Little Pony series was my absolute favorite cartoon as a kid. I'd even sneak across the street to my best friend's house to watch because my mom wouldn't pay for the channel. XD Um...my favorite pony and character in the show was definitely North Star. Eventually I'll (hopefully) replace her one day in my collection. Now, the new series has helped me come out of the toy box and share a little. Rarity and Luna are my favorites in the new series.

Um...since I'm really new at cleaning my older ponies, any tips for pony care are greatly appreciated. :) Thank you for accepting me into the forums!

I'm still new to ponies (I had G1s when I was little but just got back into them with G4) so I can't offer you any help on pony care since I'm not very familiar with it yet. But everyone here is really friend and I'm sure someone will be along shortly who can help or give ya some advice. :)

There were cleaning tutorials on the old Arena, I'm sure they will be moved over here shortly (if they haven't already), those should help you out a bit....
