G4 Pets question

I havent really paid them much attention, and all my G4 are boxed still (debating getting them out) but looking at traveling pinkie pie, and the heghog has the MLP logo on its tummy! whats up with that? are they all the same?

I think they started doing that after wave 2, as my wave one and 2 pets are stamp free. But now it appears the pets are either stamped on the tummy or the back of their head.

Yeah, I also kept my G4s boxed but I noticed that on Blossomforth's Hedgehog's tummy has the MLP Brand and I got her when wave 3 first started showing up, so maybe it started since then.

From what I understand the first few waves did not have the little logo anywhere. Now with the later waves the have them somewhere on their body.
It's not too bad, but I wish they could put a small mark or something on the bottom of the animals instead of on their tummies or the back of their heads.

I would guess the mark is a desperate attempt to stop potential fakie moulds being created....its reasonably normal for companies to stamp their brand on even the smallest accessory/add on - not convinced such strategy would work but I guess its probably worth a try for a company the size of HB and they ll know their market better than I would anyway of course!

well there's even a tiny stamp on the foot of the blind bags I have from the TRU set, so it doesn't surprise me, but I haven't noticed that on any of the animals, even though mine are in the box still, I'll have to go look.

I have a duck & a hedgehog in hand, and the hedgehog has the symbol on its tummy, the duck on the back of its head not too sure about any other pets tho sorry!
