I have a Sweet 1600 Frankie that I am trying to get rid of. She is still mint in box and just laying around taking up space, so if anyone wants her let me know. I would love to work out a trade, but I won't pass up money. :P

Oooh, my kid is a tough negotiator. I just pre-ordered a whole bunch of dolls from Entertainment Earth. I'll probably get the rest as well...

I could have sworn someone posted a pic of her with her hair down here, but now I can't find it...

I'm pretty sure that um...oh my gosh, that guy with the really nice pictures, totally blanking on his name - I'm pretty sure he took her hair down.

Regarding the box hair - Imho that's the worst part of MH. They ALL have NASTY box hair. I opened three Cupid for people and all three had a completely squished curl. My girls all had to have baths before they were fun to play with. My Toralei still has goopy spots in her hair  :yikes:  But really I guess it's not much to complain about

Picklepud!! :D

Huh, my Spectra had nice hair straight out of the box.   There was a crease in it, and I have since washed & conditioned it out.  But it wasn't bad.

Is there something in the hair of the ones with styled/curled hair?

I'd be tempted to say maybe it's just the ones with styled hair, except my classroom Lagoona is the worst of my three, and hers is only style on top :/

Yes. Most of the shorter haired dolls and dolls with a styled look usually come packed with enough hair glue in their hair to supply a small fashion show. My Spectra and the majority of Ghoulias aren't too bad- but dolls like Lagoona and Cleo tend to have a lot. Same with Toralei and most Clawdeens.

I tend to wash a doll's hair regardless, to get any box crimp out, and because a lot of them still have some sort of oily sheen in their hair. Also, I like to freshen up whatever style they had.

I'm so glad that when I conditioned DT Ghoulia's hair that I didn't lose the pretty curls she had going on.
And it's more tame now. :D

TRU sent me a $10 certificate from the rewards program so when I went it and saw Draculaura's bed I squealed like a 10 year old girl and ran to the register. lol It's the first time I saw one on the shelves since early December!
